Tidy house, tidy mind

Anyone who's worked with Roger will know that our new factory will be both incredibly efficient and kept immaculate. Whilst Marie Kondo is correct, and that seeing the factory developing in a neat and orderly way does spark joy; what’s our reasoning behind ensuring that housekeeping is on our priority list?
Keeping a clean manufacturing facility not only saves time and money, but it also protects the health and well-being of our employees; preventing injuries and worse. Ultimately, a cleaner and more efficiently run plant improves the quality of products being produced and makes for happier customers.
An awful lot of planning has gone into the layout of our extrusion press and the machinery surrounding it. We’ve had to consider the layout both horizontally and vertically; erecting cranes and digging trenches. This is all to ensure that we can safely automate as much of the extrusion process as possible; making us more efficient.
We’ve learnt lots during the process, to ensure the next purpose-built factory will be even more streamlined – but we’re giving ourselves a few years before we start that project.
